Cami Learned joined CCB Partners in the fall of 2004 as Director of Policy and Programs. She has a long professional career and personal interest devoted to people with developmental disabilities. Cami graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration.

Her career began as a Special Education Resource teacher in 1974 and subsequently branched into other areas including: quality assurance and other administrative duties for one of the early community based programs for people with developmental disabilities in Nebraska; a stint as Assistant to the Special Master for the U.S. District Court in New Orleans, LA (Gary W. , et al v. State of Louisiana); Coordinator of Planning and Policy Analysis for the Office of Mental Retardation in Nebraska; Policy Analyst for the Division for Developmental Disabilities in Colorado; Associate Executive Director for Developmental Pathways, a community centered board in Colorado and one of the founding members of CCB Partners; and private consultant.

During her career, Cami has remained a stalwart advocate for persons with developmental disabilities with her focus consistently on the needs of individuals receiving services and what is beneficial for them and their families. She remains committed to work with other organizations, state government, and elected officials to improve the delivery of supports and services. Cami served on the State of Colorado Human Services Board (1995-1999) and has been a member of AAIDD since 1987.
